House concert by Mr. Michael Grube

The Manoir de Lébioles is pleased to invite you to an exceptional concert by Pr. Dr. Michael Grube. A performance by a violin virtuoso who specialises in particular in the works of Vieuxtemps, a violinist-cum-composer born in Verviers in 1820, and Ysaye, a violinist-cum-composer, born in Liège in 1858. We are truly honoured to be able to welcome this outstanding performer.

Four centuries of MUSICAL TREASURES FOR THE VIOLIN:

His instrument is a masterpiece made by Niccolo AMATI back in 1683.

Michael Grube, whose home is in Ecuador, is one of the major contemporary violinists, whose peers describe him as a "Magical violinist". His solo or duo recitals and performances as a soloist with orchestras have enthralled audiences all over the world.

One of his defining features is the charismatic interaction between the musician and his precious instrument, unique and freshly created every time he performs.

Come and discover this authentic "lyrical violin music" which finds endless sustenance in new experiences.

Evening programme:

The evening kicks off at 5.30 pm with a champagne reception, while the concert takes place between 6 pm and 7.30 pm, with a brief intermission accompanied by a glass of champagne.

After that we offer yous a three-course meal with a selection of wines, water and coffee plus delicacies.
