The Manoir de Lébioles is pleased to invite you to an exceptional concert by Prof. Dr. Michael Grube. A performance by a violin virtuoso who specialises in particular in the works of Vieuxtemps, a violinist-cum-composer born in Verviers in 1820, and Ysaye, a violinist-cum-composer,
born in Liège in 1858. We are truly honoured to be able to welcome this outstanding performer.
Four centuries of MUSICAL TREASURES FOR THE VIOLIN:
Under the heading of "ONE HOUR OF EUROPEAN VIOLIN MUSIC", the violinist Michael Grube (Europe / Ecuador) will offer an EXCLUSIVE RECITAL in the Manoir de Lébioles. He will be performing works by Max-Ludwig Grube, Frantisek Benda, Guiseppe Verdi, Fritz Kreisler, Arthur Honegger, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Gerhard Track, Niccolo Paganini, and J.S.Bach.
His instrument is a masterpiece made by Niccolo AMATI back in 1683.
Michael Grube, whose home is in Ecuador, is one of the major contemporary violinists, whose peers describe him as a "Magical violinist". His solo or duo recitals and performances as a soloist with orchestras have enthralled audiences all over the world.
One of his defining features is the charismatic interaction between the musician and his precious instrument, unique and freshly created every time he performs.

The evening kicks off at 5.30 pm with a champagne reception, while the concert takes place between 6 pm and 7.30 pm, with a brief intermission combined with a glass of champagne.
Next on offer is a three-course meal with a selection of wine, water and coffee and delicacies.
